My Plus & Interesting Moments in Term 1 Week 1

(4th Feb - 8th Feb) This week I have been based in Rm 9 while Jacob is away . Pluses Incentives and Reminder Wall / Strike 3 systems are working really well in Rm 9.  Most of the whole class are keen to get house points and IOU time (class number line).  Most students have Chrome books and stationery. Lovely atmosphere in the class and around the school so far. Rm 9 (&8) got a commendation from the Principal on Friday for walking well from class through the office area and around the school. Whakatauki o te ra (Proverb of the day) - nice way to start our day together. Interesting Most students are motivated & focused. Most students participate and contribute without needing much prompting. The year 7s have jumped on board quickly with routines. Favourite - Whakatauki o te ra. Term1 TOD Day1: SMT Meeting as an Assistant Principal

Today I was able to see a different perspective as part of the senior management team.  Compared to where I was last year (and for my past 10 years of teaching), I was fortunate to observe, listen and share points of view in new contexts below.
